It is believed that the cost of Lukaku is 75 million Euros plus some 15 million add-ons.Chelsea and Man United was bidding for him but fortunately landed in Manchester. Paul Pogba, the biggest major signing for Manchester United is speculated to have influenced the move by the player. Due to a mistake caused by an Irish newspaper, the deal has come to be known as the most famous in this period.The mistake was done when the picture of an American rapper Stormzy was put behind the newspaper instead of Lukaku. In response, Stormzy tweeted to show anger due to the mistake done even though he is known to be a great fun of the club.

Chelsea also managed to seal a deal before closure.Chelsea bought Morata from Real Madrid. Chelsea’s manager was the reason behind accomplishment of that deal. Alvaro Morata cost Chelsea 65 million Euros in order to seal the deal compared to Fernando Torres’ 50 million Euro deal.
